Keep Moving Forward
Two level video game developed in Unity, custom software
The player in Keep Moving Forward walks through a maze of oil barrels and pipelines while water increasingly rises, and drowns the player.
Visual clipping (a software limitation) obscures long range vision,
a metaphor for the hidden oil infrastructure in the United States.

Once they reach the end of the maze they are taken to a broken pipeline.
The game play is programmed to lag and eventually crash, an allusion to “peak oil”,  a theorized point when earth has reached the extractive limit of petroleum.
